A new day

So, I got my blood drawn yesterday. With my body... I don't do well with little blood. I like to keep ALL of it. But "they" seemed to think they need it more. WHATEVER! Saving four lives with one blood donation. Yeah okay. At least I get to know what my blood type is for the IMB.

That is another headache in itself. This has been the longest process ever! BUT for me a good one. It has been teaching me patients and go with what God is calling me to do. "Love does not easily anger" I continue to remind myself that this is for God's will. Not my own. I continually want to say no and back out and run in the other direction, the easier direction. But I know that it is going to be the story of Jonah if I don't listen now. I am going to regret it and then I am going to have to go anyway.

As this semester is coming to a close, I start to realize how my life is changing. My best friend is getting married in July, I am walking across the stage of graduation, I am dating a boy in which my family is meeting this weekend, I maybe going to San Diego for the Bateman finals, and in January will be leaving for Europe for two years. I never thought I would be saying that. I am excited and nervous and filled with joy and fear. I think that is the best place to be right now. As weird as that sounds I truly believe it.

Today is a new day. I am conquering what needs to be conquered, standing up for myself when necessary, and smiling cause it confuses people.

I FORGOT!

So Since I forgot the yesterday was Tuesday.... Here is the two WACKY WENESDAY thoughts :).

ONE- When you have finals/ MIdterms... it is good to study for them instead of blow them off. THerefore making an "A" would not be so hard.

TWO- Your last semester is the most difficult semester to want to do anything. Make sure you do not get senioritous. I HAVE IT. So I am taking a deep breath and am going to finish strong.

Those are the thoughts of today. SMILE it is going to be a great ONE!

The coolest Video I have EVER seen!

Her Morning Elegance by Oren Lavie-

I love the fact that The birds are socks and then the pillow clouds go from bright white and happy to the grey clouds. The window portion where her hair is blowing in the wind is beautiful. I am amazed by this video. It takes a lot of patience to do a stop motion video. I have high regards for these artists.

This part where they are dancing on the sheets amazing me because it looks like they aren't laying down. IT IS AWESOME!

At the end she wakes up and seems like she as no idea what she just did. It was all a dream.

The Tuesday Two's

So from now on, every Tuesday I will be giving my Tuesday Two's. Which means: I will be sharing two thoughts, recollections, tips, random thoughts or epiphanies with you. This is all about the numbers.

FOUR today, Number ONE is Love your neighbor as yourself. God describes this is full detail in the Bible as this is the greatest commandment.

Number TWO- Always look at the positive side of things. Every time you think things are SO bad, allow GOd to show you how blessed you really are. YOU are LOVED!

I look forward to next Tuesday!

The time in my life where life... sucks.

I never knew that having things "all together" would ever be so hard. I have never been the girl who wanted to sit in the back of the classroom without getting noticed. Lately, I have just wanted to be a girl who crawled into a hole and never came out. I have never been so busy in my life. Every week is different but mostly the week looks like this:

Monday: Work 11-7, RA Meeting 7:30-8:30, Officer Meeting PRSSA at 9, Then homework
Tuesday: Class 9-11, lunch, Class 12-5:20, Office hours 6-?, Cov Group, Lifestream,
Homework
Wednesday: Adams Office Hours 9-11:30, Work 12-8, PRSSA at 9, then homework
Thursday: Class 9-11, Lunch, 12-5:20 Class, Office Hours, Rounds
Friday: Work 3-9:30
Saturday: 2- 9:30 work
Sunday: Church

So this is just the set time schedule. Tired yet?

1st day of National Conference... the day from DOWN THERE!

RING RING RING

4 o'clock in the morning came fast for me who had about an average of 4 hours a sleep a night. It also was fast for someone who sleeps through the alarm and finally wake up to an alarm of Ashley calling when we are supposed to be at the airport. I was ready in about 15 mins, packed and ready to go. Although we got to the airport at 6:20 when the plane was supposed to leave at 6:45. They wouldn't let us on the plane. SAD I know.

So, we got tickets for the next plane that left at 11:07. We went through security and got breakfast, watched the sunrise, and hear Ashley's story of Sonic.

"I would like a ham toaster, please."

"We don't have croissants," sonic lady said.

"Good I don't like croissants."

In the end, Ashley got a ham and egg toaster. Not what she wanted exactly but aleast it wasn't a croissant. The rest of the day did not get any better...

Beautiful God

SHAWN McDONALD
Beautiful
Written by Shawn McDonald

As I look into the stars
Pondering how far away they are
How You hold them in Your hands
And still You know this man
You know my inner most being, oh
Even better than I know, than I know myself

What a beautiful God
What a beautiful God
And what am I, that I might be called Your child
What am I, what am I
That You might know me, my King
What am I, what am I, what am I
As I look off into the distance
Watching the sun roll on by
Beautiful colors all around me, oh
Painted all over the sky
The same hands that created all of this
They created you and I
What a beautiful God
What a beautiful God

And what am I, that I might be called Your child
What am I, what am I
That You might know me, my King
What am I, what am I
That You might die, that I might live
What am I, what am I, what am I, what am I
What am I
What am I
What am I
What am I
What am I

God is and always will be BIG!
There is nothing we can do about it. When you can sit back and look at the situation around you and be thankful-- that is when God touches you. I am at that point. God has placed me here for a reason. I know and finally realized that I am nothing without HIM! Like Shawn McDonald said in his song, " What am I," it should make you think of what you do that could be more important than listening and PRAISING the maker and the one who died for us!

What Am I?

Few photos are compliments of my sister, April.
